How Do I Find Meyersville?

_______________________________________________

"How do I find Meyersville?" is a question that people have been asking since 1846 when Adolph Meyer and his family walked from Galveston to the banks of the Twelve Mile Coleto Creek in DeWitt County and decided to settle here.

Meyersville is located about 30 miles Nortwest of Victoria and about 90 miles (as the crow flies) Southeast of San Antonio. The two maps below show how to find Meyersville. Click on these maps for full size detail maps of the Meyersville area. (Note: these maps are not to scale and all distances and directions referenced in these directions are approximate!)

<--- This map shows the general location of Meyersville relative to our nearest neighbors (Victoria, Cuero, Goliad, and Yorktown).

You can also check out our location on the U.S. Census Bureau's Map for our area. (Note that their push-pin is located about 1 inch farther to the right than it should be but their map does detail all the little roads in our area.)
