Tank Sentinel Graphics
This page illustrates some of the possibilities for graphical presentation of Tank Sentinel tank gauging and leak detection data. For more information on the Tank Sentinel System, be sure to check out the Tank Sentinel Features and Tank Sentinel Specifications pages at this site.
For best results, size your browser window so the entire peppermint stick below is visible.

This page contains the following examples which illustrate a few of the many possible ways of presenting Tank Sentinel data:
Individual Tank Data Display
The display below shows a typical panel for presenting the data for an individual tank. A number of these individual panels can be grouped together to present an overview of an entire tank farm or area on a single display.
<-- The top of this display shows the current product in the tank
<-- This portion of the window shows the Tank ID number
<-- Level can be displayed in ft-in-16ths, ft-in-8ths, decimal feet or metric units.
Level is also shown in the bar chart which is scaled to the tank's height.
<-- Temperature is displayed to the nearest degree Fahrenheit or Celsius
<-- Gross volume can be displayed in barrels or gallons or mass can be shown
<-- Any active alarms would be shown in this area
<-- Pumps and valves can be associated with a tank and their status shown in
the window

Tank Detail Display
The display below shows all data parameters for a tank in a single graphic panel. It includes fields and switches that can be manipulated by the operator as well as those that are scanned or calculated by the Tank Sentinel:
The user-modifiable fields are activated by clicking on them in the Tank Detail Display at the left which pops up a Data Entry Window like that shown below for adjusting a High-High Alarm Level:
Data can be entered in any of three ways: By typing a new value in the data fields, by clicking on the up or down arrows, or by moving the slide switch left or right.
