The 2009 harvest has started. Thanks to the nice rains we have been blessed with late in the growing season, the crop has managed to survive the severe drought that plagued Texas for most of the year. However, this has also pushed out the harvest a little later than normal. We will have only limited supplies available before Thanksgiving but should have adequate supplies to fill most orders by Christmas.
We are holding our 2009 prices at the same level as the 3 past years: $2.70 per pound for uncracked in-shell pecans and $3.00 per pound for cracked pecans. These are all Texas native pecans from the current year's harvest. Discounts are available for quantities of 20 pounds or more.
